It's about time they put an end to this TV license scam. The TV business model is changing and everything is moving to streaming. I pay happily for Netflix, have a Youtube account no ads Amazon Prime and now a recent Discover Plus subscription to watch Hammonds antics etc and other car content. I will never buy a TV License again.

Just wish the beeb would abolish the license for good. So you're happy to pay subscriptions for multiple single channels, but unwilling to pay for one yes it's for the BBC I know to receive about hundred TV and radio channels live, legally. Reminds me of the amazon zealots who say they get free delivery If you subscribe to Amazon Prime. Which part of 'free' is that again?

I know of one chap who pays it just to get iplayer, which even though it isn't live, now DOES require a licence. As far as the OP goes, I wouldn't bother in her position. ChevronB19 3, posts months. Surely she will have an address Here at Park Leisure, our ethos is simple — a lifetime of holidays.

Some owners choose to keep their static caravan or lodge for, quite literally, a lifetime, but many choose to upgrade after some time. The first things is to consider is that there is a difference between how long your static caravan will physically last and how long a holiday park may allow you to keep your static caravan on pitch.

The other main reason holiday home owners choose to upgrade is to stick with the trends as many interiors and features soon become outdated in the world of fashion and technology. If a caravan is well cared for they can go for years and years; you can almost replace or renew every part of a static caravan.

It's not uncommon to see some people with caravans as old as 30 years, although many decide to upgrade their caravan to a more modern interior, updated mod-cons and sized-up model. Many parks determine in their site license agreement how long you can keep your static caravan or holiday lodg e on park.

Most operators allow you to keep a static caravan on their park for 10 - 20 years, with lodges allowing slightly longer - although this should be determine in your site license agreement. AWanderingLancastrian Posted April 5, Honk Posted April 7, Posted April 7, Hi Peter, You site licence is based on you occupying the plot of land that your caravan is on. The bottom line is talk to the owner, that is where your contract rests. Hope this helps.

Kenny Hunter Posted May 19, Posted May 19, Honk Posted May 19, After the 15 year period, you will have to leave or buy a new van and start again. A typical contract really. WispMan Posted May 19, At present the OP has not been back on the forum since posting his question. Let's hope he comes back and learns from our members advice.
